Chromium Doped Yttrium Aluminium Granat (Cr4+:YAG)

Cr4+:YAG (Y3Al5O12) is an ideal material for passive Q-switching of Nd:YAG and other Nd and Yb doped lasers in the wavelength range of 0.8 to 1.2 µm.
One of the remarkable features of Cr4+:YAG is high damage threshold of 500 ... 1000 MW/cm2. It is easy to be operated and therefore outstandingly suited to replace LiF and Dye which are commonly used for passive Q-switching.

KOMLAS offers Cr4+:YAG crystals with Ar-coating and standard dimension of diameter 9.5 mm (other dimensions on request).
