Laser Crystals

Nd:YAG

Nd:YAG crystal is the most popular solid-state laser material today.
Its main advantages are: high gain, low threshold, high efficiency, low loss at 1.064 µm, as well as high optical quality, good thermal conductivity and thermal shock characteristics, stable chemical and mechanical properties. These excellent properties make Nd:YAG as the most suitable and commercial laser material for various modes of operation (CW, pulsed, Q-switched, mode locked and cavity dumped).

Nd:YVO4

Nd:YVO4 is one of the most efficient solid-state laser host crystal at present. Its large stimulated emission cross-section at laser wavelength, high absorption coefficient and wide absorption bandwidth at pump wavelength, high laser induced damage threshold as well as good physical, optical and mechanical properties make Nd:YVO4 an excellent crystal for the high power , stable and cost-effective diode laser-pumped solid-state lasers. With the design of Nd:YVO4 + frequency crystal KTP, man can produce tiny all solid-state green lasers.

Er:YAG

Er:YAG is an excellent laser material for 2.94 µm laser emission. 2.94 µm is the most readily absorbed into water and hydroxylapatite of all existing wavelengths, it is also considered a highly surface cutting laser wavelength. The Er:YAG lasers are widely applied in medical arear such as dental (hard tissues), orthopedics, etc.

CTH:YAG

CTH:YAG has wide applications in medical and meteorology fields.. It is a high efficiency laser material which lasers at 2.1µm.
